Apparently I skipped June...
... and nearly July as well. I assure you, we have been doing anything BUT nothing... which probably is the best reason I've not posted anything in so long. :)
Well, I suppose we can start with the main (heh) reason we've been so busy. Archibald Main Gallup III was born on Tuesday, June 3rd at 7:30am after a very short labor. He was a svelte 9lbs 15.6oz and 21" long. (LOL!)

The whole family has been recovering ever since :)
Rewind a bit to about 14 hours before. Archie's sister Anne had just flown home to CA after coming for 4 days around my due date JUST to try to catch the birth and act as my doula. She flew home on Monday evening and of course I went into labor less than 12 hrs later :) Oh well, these things can't be helped and we were just as pleased to have him come when he did. We were already becoming convinced this was going to be a Wall baby when he went past his due date (fashionably late), then we SAW him and there was no doubt whose side of the family he was taking after :) My older brother Dan tipped the scales at over 11 lbs, and I was over 10 lbs - however, this was back in the 70's when they let you go THREE weeks late.
There were some slight concerns about his blood sugar levels, as there are with all babies over a certain size, but once he got on a regular nursing schedule he stabilized at a healthy level. Daddy, Rachel, Grandad and Grandma Gallup were here to welcome him to our world :)
That's all for right now. Feel free to check out more pictures and some video of our time in the hospital HERE.

Congratulations!
I followed your link on your myspace, I remember you, we both graduated from phs in 93, all of which is irrelevant compared to your new addition.
Congratulations! :D
