Have we met?
Yeah yeah yeah... I know, I haven't been here in a good long while, and you're asking, but what have you done for me LATELY? Well, we've been a little busy...yeah I know we're all busy. so I have no GOOD excuse, so we're just going to get past all these broken promises.
Where to start... About a year ago, we found out we were (SURPRISE!) pregnant, just about a week before leaving on our annual cross country trip, we found out we were due 2/21/12, and later found out it was to be another girl. Rachel started (and is now nearly finished with) Kindergarten. Then just before Christmas we found out that Archie's company wanted him to start on a new job in Pasadena, CA IMMEDIATELY, even though I was in the last 8 weeks of pregnancy. So, when I was 35 weeks pregnant we/I house hunted all around the Pasadena area with 2 kids while Archie started right in at work. Within a few days we were on our way to getting a place and the move was scheduled for 2 weeks later.
We had just enough time to recover from the move to get ready for our newest member of the Gallup clan to make her way into the world. Lelia Anne Edson Gallup graced us with her presence on Friday, February 24 at 1am, after a very uncharacteristic birthing experience for me (I had been at the hospital for over 24 hrs with a stalled labor). We were very pleased that she was born without any circumstance, and AFTER the move was complete. Now that things are getting back to 'normal', it is time for school to end for the summer, and I am taking off with the kids for the east coast AGAIN with my SIL Anne and her girls in less than three weeks. Ugh, we are totally coocoo for cocoa puffs, but I wouldn't have it any other way...
